The series are composed of definitions which are frequented in the media coverage about current world events. The selected terms are more associated with medieval events in our geographic region, to which the visual side of the work is adjusted. The dictionary definition of each term is difficult to discern due to the materials used. That makes the viewers contemplate their short-sightedness.
In the moment when the white light is switched to ultraviolet, the dictionary definition is replaced with a quote from contemporary news. The expression is put into context of recent world events.
