Bana Alabed is a 7-year-old girl who in 2016 used tweets to bring attention to the conflict in Syria. Some members of the online community disproved her existence and gave several evidence that little Bana represents a fictious person created for propaganda. The actual piece of art puts the viewer in front of a simple question liberated from any political meanings: Do the three black eggs contain milk teeth of little Bana which she mentioned in her tweets? The answer can be yes, or no. A milk tooth is a trivial object which is directly related to person’s physical existence. As one part of the installation proves, thanks to Twitter, you can write to Bana and ask her to send you the mentioned objects. The viewer can look at the arguments found on the social media which support or disprove Bana’s existence.
